Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a CT Technologist for a unique Two-Day Alternative (TDA) schedule at our College Station Medical Center. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, premium TDA shift differential, and a consistent long-weekend schedule-ideal for technologists who want stability, autonomy, and strong growth opportunities within one of Texas?s most recognized health systems.
As a CT Technologist, you will perform advanced diagnostic CT imaging for hospital and ambulatory patients, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient imaging that supports exceptional patient care.
What You?ll Do
Perform high-quality CT exams according to protocols, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic imaging.
Demonstrate proficiency in iSTAT point-of-care creatinine testing for contrast eligibility.
Use AIDET communication to explain procedures, confirm patient identity, and ease patient anxiety.
Position patients accurately using immobilization devices and proper exposure techniques.
Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, shielding, and sterile technique protocols.
Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and imaging staff to maintain workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Maintain CT equipment and exam rooms; report malfunctions and support routine QC requirements.
Verify all required documentation, including pregnancy status, clinical history, exam orders, and contrast screening.
Upload and maintain imaging studies and documentation within PACS and EMR systems.
Participate in call rotation if required.

Strong understanding of contrast protocols, anatomy, radiation dose monitoring, and exam workflow.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Experience: CT experience preferred; new CT-certified technologists encouraged to apply
Certifications/Licensure:
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
Strong technical knowledge of CT imaging principles and safety standards
