Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provides leadership in the effective integration of medical and radiation oncology at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital.
Responsible for organizing and implementing programs including, but not limited to, policies and procedures for regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction and service availability.
Ensures volume, quality and financial goals and objectives are met.
Manages the day-to-day clinical activities.
Identifies and develops methods for improving the overall clinic/business operations and delivery of patient care.
Identifies opportunities for revenue enhancement and for increasing patient base. Investigates and resolves problems related to the department's operation or personnel; advises management of major issues and recommends appropriate corrective action.
Initiates or recommends personnel actions such as hires, fires, disciplines, etc. Provides input on performance appraisals. Assists in the development of daily, monthly and/or yearly goals and measures for department, and as requested, assists in assessment of goal attainment.
Monitors activities for and ensures compliance with laws, government regulations, Joint Commission requirements and DMC policies. As directed, implements external and internal audit recommendations.
Bachelor's degree or certification in a clinical healthcare field or equivalent degree and/or education and experience
Clinical knowledge base in oncology
Five years of progressively more responsible experience in an Ambulatory Care setting or equivalent.
Licensed RN in state of Michigan preferred
