The RN, Med/Surg provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC), located 30 miles north of Portland, Maine, is an accredited Level II trauma center, tertiary referral hospital, and base station for Life Flight of Maine. Our health system consists of a 250-bed facility in Lewiston and Critical Access Hospitals in both Bridgton and Rumford.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of practice.
Current BCLS certification.
Expected to be trained to work in IMC within 9-12 months of RN experience on the unit.
