Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is a freestanding, 122 bed facility specializing in general adult psych, adolescents, geriatric, and women's services.The hospital is located in southwest Houston serving the Houston and surrounding communities. Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is conveniently located between the Galleria and Meyerland shopping districts, and is only minutes away from the Houston Medical Center, Downtown, and Midtown.
Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking an Admissions Nurse (RN) to complete assessments and admissions activities for inpatient units and serve as a liaison with both Nursing and Intake Departments

Position Responsibilities include:
Perform initial nursing screening and appropriate clinical assessments
Coordinate efforts to ensure timely response for referrals and perform nurse-to-nurse screening for patient transfers.
Provide accurate evaluation of medical necessity
Perform and document pre-certifications on all admissions
