Directs interventions that promote and foster health, assess dysfunction, assist patients to regain or improve their coping abilities, maximize strengths, and prevent further disability. These interventions focus on psychiatric-mental health patients and include health promotion and health maintenance, intake screening and evaluation, case management , provision of a therapeutic environment(e.g., milieu therapy), monitoring patients and assisting them with self-care activities, administering and monitoring psychobiological treatment regimens(including prescribed psychopharmacological agents and their effects), health teaching , counseling and crisis care, and psychiatric rehabilitation.
This position will be a full time position, every Saturday and Sunday from 7am-11pm on the General Adult Unit.
